Hawaii Dreams

January 14, 2014
Hi everyone!  Things have been CRAZY at work these past few weeks and it’s been hard to pull myself together at the end of the day to come up with fun blog posts worthy of being read.  On top of that, I’ve had a lingering cold that will not go away.  Ugh.

Is it just me or does January seem like a sad and dreary month?  It’s so sad to see the Christmas decorations taken down, and now everything is just gray and yucky outside.  It’s been sunny here the past couple of days, but it’s still so cold!  It’s times like this that I can’t keep my mind from wandering back to Hawaii.  I'm longing for some eternal sunshine, a good tan, the scent of plumeria in the air, and a mai tai in hand.  I’ve rounded up a few my favorite pictures from my 3 years there, and I hope this brings a little bit of sunshine and warmth to your cold January day :)

Sunrise over Diamond Head...I took this on one of my very last runs in Hawaii.
